Finland’s independent oversight panel slammed the government’s handling of the wolfhunt legislation, saying it bypassed regular procedure and failed to carry out an impact analysis.
The change is necessary due to “the growing concerns of citizens regarding wolves and other large carnivores,” said Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sari Essayah (CD).
