Some healthcare authorities pay their board chairs over 80,000 euros per year, despite that many wellbeing services counties are struggling to make ends meet.
The agreement opens the markets of South America’s Mercosur bloc to Europe, which will mean an influx of imported, and possibly cheaper, meat into Finland.
The reforms aim to reduce state spending on pharmaceutical reimbursements by around 30 million euros per year, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
