Increased Chinese exports prompted 240,000 job losses in the EU between 2015 and 2022, and many more redundancies could be looming, Finland’s Chemical Industry Federation says.
“We have moved on to a new nuclear age where, unfortunately, the role that nuclear weapons play has been increasing,” President Alexander Stubb said on Monday.
“Finland is, so to speak, trying to influence things from the sidelines. The big boys decide, and we try to contribute at different stages,” Stubb told Helsingin Sanomat.
