PURL is a joint US-Nato initiative that allows countries to make a financial contribution to the compiling of arms packages, bought from the US and provided to Ukraine.
“We have moved on to a new nuclear age where, unfortunately, the role that nuclear weapons play has been increasing,” President Alexander Stubb said on Monday.
“Finland is, so to speak, trying to influence things from the sidelines. The big boys decide, and we try to contribute at different stages,” Stubb told Helsingin Sanomat.
