Prices of detached houses have been falling since 2022, according to Statistics Finland. However, the number of real estate transactions increased last year.
The unemployment rate edged down from 10.7 to 10.3 percent in January, but remained higher than a year earlier. The number of employed men fell by 23,000 year-on-year while the number for women remained unchanged.
